My first coffee blog post!

There is something about coffee that connects us in a special way. This morning, I went into my favorite coffee shop for my usual black ice coffee... the young lady that usually hooks me up knows I like to use a sleeve from the hot cups in order to keep my ice coffee cold and my hands warm, but the shop has switched over to a new sleeveless insulated cup... No more sleeves! Either way, she read my mind and double cupped me! As I conversed with her about the cup situation lol, one of my friends from the bagel station shouted me out and asked why I didn’t come by to say hello! I smiled, popped a straw in my cup and gestured that I needed that coffee immediately, even though that wasn’t true, i go there often because I love to visit them and I adore the taste of their blend... He raised his cup of coffee in recognition and we cheers to a good morning. I don’t know what kind of coffee he was drinking, but we both know that we all run off the same fuel, not only coffee, but the fuel that feeds our souls, the human spirit that fills up our gas tanks and is always in flux. Give people hope, and give people spirit so that one day when your down, some one will be there to uplift you when times are tough.
